Resumen

Enfoque de elementos relevantes de la biología tumoral, dentro de un enfoque celular y molecular, destacándose aspectos relativos a las células neoplásicas, al microambiente tumoral y a la respuesta del huésped, en asociación a los principales métodos de investigación de estos eventos. Circuitos moleculares en el cáncer: ciclo celular, proliferación y diferenciación celular. Inmuno-histoquímica: principios y aplicaciones, recuperación antigénica y sistemas de amplificación. Genética molecular del cáncer: inestabilidad cromosómica y mutaciones, oncogenes, genes supresores de tumores, eventos epigenéticos. Estroma e invasión tumoral: vasculogénesis tumoral (contexto molecular, patrones de organización, marcadores y cuantificación), MEC y cáncer, hipoxia y progresión tumoral. Inflamación, macrófagos, células dendríticas, células natural-killer y cáncer. Cáncer como enfermedad sistémica/ metástasis.
