This line of research investigates the challenges inherent in integrating emerging technologies, new management models, and the growing complexity of information systems in productive ecosystems. Based on qualitative and quantitative approaches, mathematical modeling, and applied projects developed in partnership with organizations, it seeks to formulate solutions that increase competitiveness in the industrial, agricultural, and service sectors.

Line 2 - Advances in Cleaner Production and Circular Economy
This line of research deals with the interface between the environment and the production sector, focusing on the relationships that affect the competitiveness of different production systems at different scales. Quantitative concepts and tools are discussed, used and/or developed from the perspective of Cleaner Production and Circular Economy.
