  • Prof. Dr. Márcio Cardoso Machado: Research with Prof. Paulo Sampaio, from Minho University, in a project about "Performance Measurement for Supply Chain Network Quality Management Integration: a systematic literature review".
  • Prof. Charbel José Chiappetta Jabbour. ACURSC project - Anti-COVID-19 Capabilities Underpinning Resilient Supply Chains? framework: evidence from manufacturing firms in food supply chains in the Midlands-UK. Funded by The UK Midlands Engine Economic Observatory.
  • Prof. Charbel José Chiappetta Jabbour. Project Adoption of circular economy practices in Brazilian companies participating in pro-circularity organizational networks: the role of human factors. Funded by Montpellier Research in Management.

International Recognition

Faculty members with participation in editorial committees of journals published abroad and indexed in Scopus or Web of Science

The Program has intensified the participation of its faculty in editorial committees of high impact journals, indexed in Scopus or Web of Science. Among them, the following stand out:

  • Professor Maciel M. Queiroz became editor of the International Journal of Information Management (IJIM), classified as Qualis A1.
  • Professor Ana Beatriz Lopes de Sousa Jabbour is associate editor of the following journals: Journal of Knowledge Management (JOSCM); Journal of Operations and Supply Chain Management; Polish Journal of Management Studies, among others.
  • Professor Charbel José Chiappetta Jabbour is associate editor of the following journals: Journal of Cleaner Production, Management of Environmental Quality: an International Journal (Emerald), Sustainable Production and Consumption (Elsevier), Polish Journal of Management Studies, among others.

Results of this initiative are reflected in the visibility of the Program in the international management research community.

Graduates of PPG with international performance

  • The student Hamilton Dias dos Santos, with dissertation completed in 2017, entered in 2019 the doctoral program in Marketing and Strategy at the School of Economics and Management (EEG), University of Minho, Portugal. The PhD course was interrupted in the same year due to a full-time professional placement in the same country.
