Ementa
To provide knowledge to students using statistical data in computer applications to write international journal papers in logistics and transport. Among the contents of discipline there is topic regarding publications, software expertise and data analysis using statistics. Applications will be conducted using R software or Stata. Topics: (i) Writing - how to make an abstract, introduction, methodology, results and discussion, a cover letter, the submission process; (ii) Statistical content Descriptive and Inferential Statistics, Simple and Multi Linear Regression, Multivariate Analysis, ANOVA. The discipline will be hybrid (students can be follow it online) using both languages English and Portuguese according to public and contents.
